Culture & Sustainability

Built for a changing world

Lime's sustainability sits in the business itself - and in our culture. In an industry reshaped by geopolitics, AI and the competition for talent, our answer is threefold: we digitalise the organisations society depends on, we protect their information in an increasingly regulated world, and we build a workplace where people can grow.

A strong company culture

A culture- and business-driven organisation

“We are not a global conglomerate trying to be everything to everyone. We are an established European partner with the right scale and culture to move quickly, know our customers by name and answer fast when they call. In a world that demands adaptability, trust, expertise and local presence, that is exactly the supplier we should be.”
Tommas Davoust · CEO & Managing Director

We always combine performance with care

Lime's employees are decisive for our success and make us stand out in front of customers through commitment, expertise and a genuine will to create value. We are a culture- and values-driven organisation where we keep things simple, work closely together and deliver with quality, pace - and a twinkle in the eye.

Accelerating digitalisation in Europe

As an end-to-end supplier we help the organisations society depends on to streamline their processes and free up time for value-creating work.

When we help utility companies make their customer management more efficient, or when membership organisations such as the Red Cross modernise their systems, we contribute to a more sustainable society through the business itself.

The Leisure Activity Card: digitalisation for a more inclusive society

Lime Sportadmin was the first major club management system in Sweden to launch a complete integration with the Leisure Activity Card (Fritidskortet), the Swedish government's initiative to give more children and young people the chance to take part in organised sport and leisure activities. During the first two months of 2026, more than 50,000 payments were made through the integration, compared with a total of around 5,000 via API across all providers during the whole of autumn 2025.

Information security

In a growing threat landscape, information security is critical.

As an essential entity under NIS 2 and DORA we work systematically with preparedness and security, which means customers in regulated sectors can build on Lime without compromising their own regulatory requirements.

NIS 2
the cybersecurity act - structures and routines in place to meet the stricter requirements
DORA
our customers in the financial sector can rely on us meeting the particularly high requirements
ISO 27001
certified since 2023, extended in 2025
  • 99.5% availability target, measured and followed up continuously
  • 100% participation in mandatory security training
  • Frequent penetration tests by an independent third party
  • Customers are informed of incidents within 24 hours, following a fixed three-step process
  • Flexible data storage: the customer's own data centre, a hosting partner or a cloud service managed by Lime

The standard defines the requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and improving a structured approach to managing information security.

Attracting and retaining talent

During 2025, almost 17,000 people applied for a job at Lime. AI is changing which skills carry the most weight and shifts the emphasis from numbers to attracting and retaining the right people.

Value increasingly lies in judgement, customer understanding and industry knowledge: things that take time to build and cannot be automated. We run the entire recruitment process in-house, from first screening to final interview, and make it more efficient with AI. Employee wellbeing is followed up in weekly surveys, and we invest in development so that people stay and grow with us.

Climate responsibility in the tech industry

As a tech company our direct climate impact is limited. We focus on the areas where we can make a difference ourselves and work with concrete measures.

We map our climate impact to see where it is greatest and to be able to set targets. The full climate metrics are available in the Sustainability Report.

Concrete measures we are working with
  • Data stored in Sweden using renewable electricity
  • Our own solar parks since 2019 that cover more than the electricity consumption of our offices
  • Our Nordic offices are heated with district heating from renewable energy sources
  • Electric cars in the car pool, a bicycle benefit scheme, train ahead of air travel and efficiently planned customer visits
  • When computers and mobile phones are replaced, our partners take the equipment back, erase the data securely and prepare it for its next user – extending its service life
  • We work continuously to keep the number of tokens and computations down in our AI development, without compromising on performance
