Three questions for the CEO right now
From the Q2 2026 report-
1 What does the European trend towards digital sovereignty mean for Lime's business in the coming years?
We are, and have always been, local and close to our customers – in language, support, culture, organisation and data handling. Being close to our customers has always been an important competitive advantage, but what is new for us is that our European heritage is now a direct differentiator. According to Gartner, 75% of European companies will choose software on the basis of sovereignty by 2030, up from around 5% today. Given that our largest competitors are American and that we are one of the biggest players in Europe, we naturally see a significant opportunity here. Beyond being a European company serving other European companies, we already have the capability to offer solutions with no connection whatsoever to American providers. We are also well underway with developing a fully European cloud offering – something that is being requested in many customer dialogues.

2 Growth in the professional services business, Expert Services, is higher than software growth in Q2. Is this something we can expect going forward as well?
We are a product company and view our professional services business as an important strategic complement – a central part of the offering that ensures customers get real value from their investment, with us as their trusted adviser. The strong growth in the quarter is a result of high utilisation and a solid quarter overall, but is partly explained by weak comparative figures from 2025 and two additional working days in Q2 2026. As AI streamlines technical implementations and customisations, our consultants gain greater opportunities to act as advisers and domain experts, increasing the value delivered to customers. We do not optimise Expert Services for growth, and over time we expect software to account for an increasing share of total revenue – fully in line with our financial targets.

3 You have developed an entirely new AI product, Lime Go Agentic. What is the thinking behind it, and how does it relate to the rest of the product portfolio?
Lime Go Agentic is a new and focused product, built from the ground up using today's best AI tools and 30 years of European CRM expertise. It should not be confused with Lime CRM, which is a considerably broader and more complex platform. Lime Go Agentic shares the core value proposition of Lime Go – prospecting and access to company data in real time – but is built agentically. This means that AI agents actually perform work on behalf of the user, rather than merely assisting: researching prospects, preparing meetings, logging calls and writing follow-ups – whilst the salesperson focuses on selling. The human always has the final say, and all data is handled within the EU. Even at beta stage, we are already seeing how the system eliminates manual steps for users. We are rolling out the product progressively, and it runs alongside the current version of Lime Go.
Three questions for the CEO from Q1 2026
From the Q1 2026 report-
1 Why should you choose Lime as a supplier instead of vibe coding something yourself or bringing in services from a dedicated AI company?
We are a partner and our promise to our customers is to help them become even better at customer management. Our software and our expertise are inseparable – it is the combination that creates great customer value. The software – the part that is becoming easier to replicate in an AI-driven world – accounts for 20% of the business. The remaining 80% is our true competitive advantage: deep industry knowledge, established customer relationships and enormous amounts of data around business-critical processes built up over thirty years. Add to that security, regulatory compliance (GDPR, NIS2, AI Act), complex integrations and ongoing maintenance. That is the package that allows customers to use AI with confidence in their core operations – with us as their responsible partner.

2 Lime recently updated its financial targets, with the growth target now based on ARR and the EBITA margin raised to 27% in the medium term. When will we see the effect on profitability?
The margin expansion is driven by two aspects that are already in motion. The first is the mix shift: as software grows as a proportion of our total revenues, the margin improves naturally, since software carries a significantly higher gross margin than consulting services. The second is our own productivity: we use AI internally to become more efficient, which means we do not need to grow our workforce at the same pace as before to drive the same growth. Together, these two forces create a successive margin expansion, and we expect full impact in the medium term.

3 Germany is an important growth market for Lime – how do you see the prospects there going forward?
It is tremendously exciting that our long-term investment in the German utility market has had such an impact over the past year. We have built this methodically over several years, and now we are winning several important deals quarter after quarter. Our many years of experience as a leading supplier in the Nordics positions us well amongst the competition. By combining software with deep industry knowledge, we solve business-critical processes, creating genuine customer value and long-lasting partnerships. The German utility market is significantly larger than the Nordic one – we have barely scratched the surface of its potential.
